Amakhosi legend to coach Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs legend Reneilwe ‘Yeye’ Letsholonyane is set to be unveiled as the new head coach of Mochudi Centre Chiefs in Botswana.

Letsholonyane was recently on the books of Zimbabwean Premier League giants FC Platinum where he served as Thabo Senong’s assistant but he has since resigned.

He was earmarked for the vacant coaching position at Chiefs soon after the sacking of Miguel Corral Torreira this week.

Letsholonyane returns to Botswana for a second stint having previously coached Matebele whom he helped survive relegation last season.

Given how well Matebele FC did under his watchful eye, Letsholonyane was subsequently nominated for the Coach of the Season award.

“Fresh off his departure from FC Platinum, former Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana legend Reneilwe ‘Yeye’ Letsholonyane is set to land his next head coaching job with Botswana giants Mochudi Centre Chiefs, FARPost can reveal,” reads part of the report.
