Mataram prepares 20 MSME stalls to enliven 2026 MotoGP

Mataram (ANTARA) - Mataram City Tourism Office in West Nusa Tenggara Province is preparing 20 stalls for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to enliven the international MotoGP motorcycle racing event at the Mandalika Circuit on October 9-11, 2026.
"We are preparing 20 stalls for 20 tenants at the MotoGP MSME bazaar at Teras Udayana in Mataram," Head of the Mataram City Tourism Office Cahya Samudra said in Mataram on Thursday.
MSME bazaar, he said, held as part of the activities to enliven the MotoGP event, is scheduled for two days, October 9 to 10, 2026, and will run until 11 p.m. local time as the side activities.
"About 20 MSME operators will fill the stalls and serve a variety of signature culinary products to visitors," he added.

The MSMEs participating in the bazaar would be dominated by businesses offering local specialities, including ayam taliwang, satay rembiga, pelecing kangkung, satay pusut, and other traditional snacks, as well as handicraft and garment.
Samudra urges MSMEs operators to maintain neatness and cleanliness in their areas to support successful economic activities.
"The MSMEs bazaar will serve as an opportunity to promote culinary tourism in Mataram City and expand market opportunities," Samudra said.
The office also organizing live music performances namely "Friday Relax" for tourists and visitors held from October 9 to 10, 2026 in Teras Udayana, Mataram City.
The main race event of MotoGP will be held on Sunday (Oct 11) in Mandalika Circuit.
