RCMP have issued an Amber Alert for a seven-year-old girl who police say was abducted from her home in northwest Alberta.
In an Alberta Emergency Alert issued shortly after 10:15 a.m. MT on Monday, police said Aspen Wilson, 7, was abducted from her residence in the town of Valleyview, Alta.
RCMP said Aspen is described as four foot tall, slim, with curly shoulder blond hair and blue eyes.
RCMP said Aspen was taken by her stepfather Alexander Stone.
Police said Stone is 28 years old, six feet five inches tall, 185 lbs, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Stone is believed to be driving a grey 2004 Chevrolet Venture van with Alberta licence plate CWY-3459, and may be possibly driving to Slave Lake or Red Deer.
