Translate

EXCLUSIVE: CAA has signed filmmaker Nick Kozakis following his sophomore feature Kick On‘s premiere at this year’s Toronto Film Festival.

Next set to screen at Fantastic Fest and Beyond Fest, Kick On follows four young friends who find themselves in a fight for their lives after a night of partying leads to an encounter with a mobster’s son.

Kozakis directed that one from a script by Phillip Klimek.

The Greek-Australian filmmaker’s debut feature, Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism, was acquired by XYZ Films after premiering at the Melbourne Film Festival and winning the People’s Choice Award at the Sitges Film Festival. The horror flick also was nominated for three AACTA Awards.

Kozakis has also directed more than 100 music videos, including “Dance Monkey” by Tones and I, which remarkably, has amassed more than 2.3 billion views. He continues to be represented by Brendan Kenney at Mad Delusion.
