Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess Officially Returns October 2026 In New Collection

Though he has a particular affinity for multiplayer titles like World of Warcraft, Destiny 2 and League of Legends, he has also put thousands of hours into single-player experiences, from deep RPGs to epic PC strategies. The Legend of Zelda is going through a magical time right now, as the franchise celebrates 40 years since we first got to explore the magic of the original release on the Famicom/NES. Since then, there have been countless classic titles for players to enjoy, with some genuine all-time great games in that time as well.
Whatever your favorite does happen to be, the older games in the series have really returned to the fore in recent years, both as part of the anniversary, and thanks to the efforts of fans working on PC ports and emulation. Now, a new physical release is serving as testament to that, and it will undoubtedly be of interest to those with burgeoning collections.
As reported by GameRant, toy manufacturer Takara Tomy has confirmed a series of Zelda historical charms will be made available in Japan gachapon machines starting from this month, with each one costing 300 yen or around $2. That means there will be a certain amount of luck involved in securing the whole collection, but they would be a great piece if you do manage to do so.
The charms are all designed around individual Zelda games from the past, with twelve in total. Each one features a design from the game on one side, while the charm itself is shaped like the iconic Triforce, all of which can be used as keyrings, attached to bags or something similar.
The full list of games which are included in the designs of the charms is as follows:
- The Legend of Zelda
- Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
- Zelda: A Link to the Past
- Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- Zelda: Majora’s Mask
- Zelda: The Wind Waker
- Zelda: Twilight Princess
- Zelda: Skyward Sword
- Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- Zelda: Link’s Awakening Remake
- Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
- Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
The Twilight Princess version looks as though it could be the most desirable of the bunch, but there are plenty of options, and your own favorite will likely come down to which game you like the most. There aren't any confirmed plans to bring the new set of releases overseas in any capacity, but if you live in or are planning to visit Japan in the near-future, keep an eye out for them in gachapon machines as you go.
In the meantime, rumors that the Twilight Princess game could return in some capacity continue to swirl. A double pack with Wind Waker would obviously be the dream, but there hasn't been anything like official word from Nintendo about what their plans are. At least we know Ocarina of Time is on the way soon. Let's just hope that it delivers a similar experience for a new generation of players.
