Translate

The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) is appealing to the public to help trace the relatives of a 65-year-old woman identified as Aba Esi, who was found at Kaneshie in Accra with a severe wound on her left leg.

The woman was found loitering in the area on Saturday, October 3, 2026, and is currently receiving medical treatment as efforts continue to locate her family and ensure she receives the necessary care and support.

Head of the AMA’s Department of Social Welfare and Community Development, Felicia Amoakohene, said concerns about the woman’s welfare had prompted the Assembly to seek the public’s assistance in identifying her relatives.

She urged the public to share information about Aba Esi widely, particularly through social media platforms and community networks, to reach anyone who might recognise her or know her family.

Mrs Amoakohene expressed hope that collective efforts would help reunite the woman with her loved ones.

Anyone with information about Aba Esi or her relatives is urged to contact the AMA’s Department of Social Welfare and Community Development on 024 185 6401 or 024 250 2497.
