Translate

The City of Los Angeles has announced that it will declare November 13th as “Billy Idol Day.” The honor will come one day before the legendary rocker is inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Idol and his longtime guitarist Steve Stevens will both be honored at City Hall Park in Downtown Los Angeles, where Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez will present the two musicians with a decree proclaiming “Billy Idol Day.” The pair will also give a free acoustic performance during the ceremony.

The following day, Idol and Stevens will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater. They’ll also appear at one of Aerosmith’s just-announced comeback concerts at the Hollywood Bowl on October 29th.
