Tom Hardy's hit TV-MA crime thriller series has just passed an impressive streaming milestone on Paramount+ as it continues to release new episodes after a recent return. Hardy's list of movies and TV shows is filled with gritty projects that both show how magnetic the actor can be onscreen in genre projects, as well as how Hardy is often part of successful releases. On streaming, it is vital to have such stars like Hardy, who has major projects like Peaky Blinders, The Dark Knight Rises, Dunkirk, Mad Max: Fury Road, and many more on his resume, establishing him as a fan-favorite.

Crime thriller series have also become some of the most popular on streaming services, something that TV's packed 2026 slate has proved once more. Netflix debuted shows like I Will Find You and His & Hers, HBO Max just saw DC's Lanterns season 1 conclude, Prime Video debuted crime thrillers like Nicole Kidman's Scarpetta and Sophie Turner's Steal in 2026, and so on. On Paramount+, Hardy's star-studded MobLand, which recently returned for season 2 with cast members like Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan, has now hit a vital streaming milestone as the crime thriller's new episodes are released on the streamer.

Hardy's MobLand Just Hit Its Biggest Milestone Yet

Hardy's MobLand has just reached the coveted mark of 100 days on Paramount+'s Top 10 TV Shows chart in the United States, according to data from FlixPatrol. As can be seen by the other shows that are trending on Paramount+ right now, the streaming service is one of big streaks, with series like NCIS at 951 days and Criminal Minds at 901 days, which also showcases the power of crime series on Paramount+. At the 100-day mark on the streamer's biggest TV show chart nationwide, Hardy's MobLand can now fight to catch up to some of the bigger streaks.

That said, MobLand is currently the 4th most-watched TV show on Paramount+ in the United States, which puts the TV-MA crime thriller series above many of the shows with longer streaks than it on the streamer. MobLand leaves behind series like NCIS, Criminal Minds, Tracker, Survivor, and more on Paramount+'s chart. This new streaming milestone for the crime series comes just a couple of days after MobLand season 2, episode 3, was released on Paramount+. MobLand season 2 will have 10 episodes, just like season 1. Additionally, as per FlixPatrol, MobLand is also Paramount+'s most-watched TV show worldwide.

What Is Season 2 About?

MobLand season 2 follows the Harrigan crime family's empire after it becomes fractured, with rivals smelling the blood on the water. In the middle of it all is once again Hardy's Harry Da Souza, the Harrigans' fixer, who must navigate an even more intense landscape than the one he had to deal with in season 1. MobLand's new episodes are also confirmed not to be the hit crime thriller series' final chapter, as MobLand season 3 is officially happening, with Hardy set to return despite early reports suggesting that he had been fired from the show after behind-the-scenes issues.
