‘Hanuman Ansh’ director Vishal Chaturvedi announces ‘RamBola’ based on Goswami Tulsidas, makers pledge all earnings to seva projects as part of the Seva Sankalp Initiative by Prime Minister Narendra Modi

After the success of ‘Hanuman Ansh’, director Vishal Chaturvedi has announced his next film, ‘RamBola – The Immortal Story of Goswami Tulsidas’. The filmmaker will turn his attention to the life and legacy of the revered poet Goswami Tulsidas.

The film has also made headlines for a pledge by producers Mahaveer Jain and Amit Upadhyay to dedicate 100 per cent of their personal earnings and savings from the project to seva initiatives aimed at supporting people in need.

‘RamBola’ producers pledge 100% earnings to seva

The pledge was announced soon after ‘RamBola’ was unveiled. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared details of the initiative on X, stating that the film’s producers intend to dedicate their earnings from the project to seva activities.He wrote, “An inspiring commitment – Rambola producers to dedicate 100% of their earnings to seva projects... After announcing 'Rambola' with 'Hanuman Ansh' director Vishal Chaturvedi, producers Mahaveer Jain and Amit Upadhyay have made a humble pledge – to dedicate 100% of their personal earnings and savings from #Rambola towards seva projects aimed at the welfare of the needy. The two producers are making this heartfelt commitment with humility, sincerity, and gratitude, as part of the Seva Sankalp Initiative inspired by our Hon.

Prime Minister, Shri #NarendraModi ji.”The announcement has drawn attention because of the unusual commitment attached to the film, with the producers linking their personal financial returns from the project to welfare-oriented seva initiatives.

‘RamBola’ will explore the life and enduring legacy of Goswami Tulsidas, the poet traditionally associated with the ‘Ramcharitmanas’.Vishal Chaturvedi has written and directed the film. The project was announced on Ganesh Chaturthi, with the filmmaker sharing a message seeking blessings for the new venture.“With Bappa’s Blessings, on this auspicious day, with humility and gratitude, we bring to you 'RamBola – The Immortal Story of Goswami Tulsidas',” Vishal wrote.The film marks Chaturvedi’s next major project following ‘Hanuman Ansh’, which was based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba.

‘Hanuman Ansh’ director also has a sequel in the pipeline

Vishal Chaturvedi is also expected to continue the ‘Hanuman Ansh’ franchise, with a sequel already in development. The filmmaker’s latest release, ‘Hanuman Ansh’, explored the life and spiritual journey of Neem Karoli Baba and became a major box-office success despite being made on a reported budget of around Rs. 2 crore.

‘Hanuman Ansh’ crosses Rs. 250 crore India net

According to the Sacnilk figures cited in the report, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ has crossed Rs. 250 crore in India net collections, while its reported gross domestic earnings have gone beyond Rs. 295 crore.
