‘Pokémon Pokopia’ shares hour-long mix of relaxing game soundtrack music
The Pokémon Company has shared an hour-long mix of relaxing music from hit cosy game Pokémon Pokopia.
Pokémon Pokopia is a cutesy life simulation game that sees you restoring a run-down island to encourage Pokémon to return. With players able to destroy and rebuild the land as they see fit, and with a number of different houses to create and decorate, it’s a cross between Animal Crossing, Minecraft and Stardew Valley. When it launched in March, it became the best-reviewed Pokémon game of all time and remains one of the highest-rated games released this year (according to Metacritic).
Now The Pokémon Company has shared 60 minutes of laid back music from the game. “Find yourself a cosy spot and enjoy this one-hour relaxing mix of music from Pokémon Pokopia. Join us as we move through this charming utopia accompanied by a calming compilation of official music that’s perfect to work, study and sleep to,” reads the official description of the mix.
Earlier this month, Pokémon Pokopia was awarded the first Game Of The Year trophy of 2026 at the Japan Game Awards which “honours outstanding computer entertainment software works.”

The first paid expansion for Pokémon Pokopia, ‘Bubbly Basin’, launched in August and introduced a new underwater town to the game alongside new ‘mon. A second expansion is due to launch later this year with a third coming at some point in 2027.
It’s been a very musical year for Pokémon. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the franchise, Japanese artist Masayoshi Oishi released a 22-minute long rap song featuring the names of all 1025 Pokémon and later this year, DJ Marshmello will headline two EDM ‘Night Out’ Pokémon concerts in LA and London.

The ‘Night Out’ celebration is the first of its kind: an unforgettable concert with performances by top EDM artists along with a dazzling show filled with cutting-edge technology and animation,” reads a press release.
