India beat South Korea 5-1 on Saturday to progress to the final of the Women’s Junior Asia Cup 2026, taking place at Hulunbuir City in China.
A hat-trick from Supriya and goals from Madhu Sidar and Sukhveer Kaur helped India ensure a smooth passage through to the summit clash where it will face the winner of the second semifinal between China and Japan.
Yuri Jeong scored the consolation goal for South Korea.
Tim White’s side had thrashed arch-rival Pakistan 19-0 in the quarterfinal after topping a group including Japan, Malaysia and South Korea.
India is looking to complete a hat-trick of Women’s Junior Asia Cup titles, having won the title in 2023 and 2024.
