MMA fighter receives big bonus on OnlyFans after suffering a wardrobe malfunction during loss

Charley Hull isn't buying the internet controversy surrounding Sydney Sweeney's new Novig sports betting commercial. In an exclusive interview, the LPGA standout went straight at the critics who argue the advertisement harms female athletes or regresses women's sports. Hull defended Sweeney's commercial appeal and business savvy, dismissing the online commentary as noise created over standard marketing. Watch the full clip as the golf star sets the record straight on brand promotion, sex appeal in advertising, and why the outrage crowd is making a "big hoo-hah out of absolutely nothing."

A loss, no matter how you get there, counts the same in the record books. The reality, however, is that not all losses are created equal.

Some are closer to the win column than others and some earn a big unexpected bonus due to a boob falling out and receiving camera time.

The latter is how MMA fighter Lucero Acosta's PFL debut played out in Chicago on Friday night. The fight ended in a TKO loss to 9-1 Shannon Clark when the referee stepped in and stopped the fight.

While the 32-year-old from Mexico did inflict some damage on her opponent during the fight, she was on the receiving end of a flurry of elbows that bounced her head off the canvas and at some point had one of her boobs pop out.

Not all the angles of the end of the fight caught Acosta's slippage. This is one of the safe ones. The other angle, if you're really interested in that aspect of this fascinating story, can easily be found on social media.

A tough loss by TKO in the record books for Acosta, who once went viral training underwater in a bikini, but a TKO loss unlike most TKO losses.

As you would expect, the wardrobe malfunction that accompanied the third round stoppage also went viral. It then earned her that unexpected bonus.

In a moment of preparation meeting opportunity, Acosta said in a post on Instagram that she's cashed in on the attention thanks to her OnlyFans.

"Extra payment on @onlyfans because we showed our nipples during the @pflmma live," she wrote. "It’s cute. Official sponsor."

She then suggested that the "extra payment" might be as much as $500k.

Not a bad bonus in a loss where, by the end, your head was being dribbled by the winner's elbows — if, indeed, it's anywhere even remotely close to that amount.

The loss for Lucero Acosta, her first by TKO, dropped her professional record to 6-3. It also ended a four-fight win streak that ran from September 2022 to April 2025.

I think we've learned something from all this. You win some, you lose some, and some losses turn into a win of sorts thanks to a wardrobe malfunction.
