Kashmera’s ‘Boyfriend’ remark sparks buzz

Kashmera Shah was seen at Mumbai airport on the evening of Tuesday, October 6, where photographers asked about her travel plans. The actress said she was heading to Greece, Europe, for a new project, though she also seemed to aim a pointed remark at Govinda's alleged girlfriend, Komal Rani Swarnkar. Married to actor-comedian Krushna Abhishek, who is Govinda's maternal nephew, Kashmera is related to the veteran actor as his niece-in-law.

The actress told the paparazzi she was flying to Greece for an upcoming project, in which she will work both as an actor and a director. Appearing to take a swipe at Komal, she said, "Khaas baat yeh hi ki yeh project independent hai, na mere husband (Krushna Abhishek) na finance kiya, na kisi boyfriend ne," and then laughed. She added, "Hum bahar ki film karte hai bhai, ghar ki nahi karte."Kashmera's comments quickly drew attention, especially her mention of a "boyfriend," which many saw as a veiled jibe amid the buzz around Govinda and his alleged relationship with Komal Rani Swarnkar.

Govinda and Komal Rani's alleged affair rumours

Speculation about an alleged affair between the two first surfaced earlier this year, when they were spotted together at Mumbai airport. Their subsequent public appearances have only added fuel to the talk, especially with reports of strain in Govinda and Sunita Ahuja's marriage. Sunita later responded to the reports, calling Komal Govinda's "sugar daddy" and saying he should be ashamed, while noting that Komal is about the same age as their daughter, Tina.
