White Sox vs. Guardians Predictions

The White Sox last won the World Series in 2005 and they’re backed by some serious star power this year, including Miguel Vargas and Munetaka Murakami, the latest Japanese superstar to hit the MLB. Sean Burke is getting the ball for the Sox tonight.

Cleveland’s last championship win, meantime, dates all the way back to 1948. The Guardians will be counting on stars like Chase DeLauter and Steven Kwan as well as starter Gavin Williams, who just played out of the bullpen in Game 4 on Thursday night, helping to record the final three outs. The Guardians are the slight betting favorite tonight, as they play at home.

The winners of tonight’s game will go on to face the Tampa Bay Rays, who completed a three-game sweep of the New York Yankees in their 2026 American League Division Series.
