Filming for I'm A Celebrity's spin-off, The Wild Frontier, was disrupted by an angry ex crew member who blocked a show trial in a dispute over pay, according to reports.
The former employee was said to have anchored his boat underneath cranes that were set to plunge the celebrities into the Pacific Ocean off Canada.
Production staff were said to have to sail out to the disgruntled ex crew member and negotiate a deal so filming could commence.
A source told The Sun: 'It was all very embarrassing as the production bosses knew that the ex-crew member was on public property.
'They were forced to get a boat out to him and thrash out a deal to get on with filming the trial. Fortunately, the dispute was settled so the schedule was not delayed.'
The Daily Mail has contacted ITV for comment.

The Ant and Dec hosted show is currently being filmed in British Columbia, Canada, and will see pairs of celebrities take on a series of trials in the wilderness.
The couples were said to have endured trials including a terrifying abseil called Dreaded Drop and a mission which tested stars' stamina called Bear Watch which had them carry out a series of overnight challenges during their stint.
But the show faced difficulty when Venezuela Fury was forced to quit the I'm A Celebrity spin-off due to illness after 72 hours.
The 16-year-old daughter of Tyson and Paris Fury had taken part in the show alongside her husband Noah Price.
A source told the publication at the time: 'Venezuela became really unwell while she was filming. It was really awful for her. She had been vomiting and it got worse as the hours went on.
'Venezuela was being so brave and tried to tough it out but ultimately, she didn't feel like she could continue.
'Noah was hugely supportive of her and just wanted her to be okay. Everyone in the camp and everyone working on the show were amazing. They understood totally. It's just one of those things.'

After leaving the camp, Venezuela was reportedly checked over by ITV medical staff before returning to a hotel with Noah.
Other stars taking part are husband and wife duo Rio and Kate Ferdinand as well as siblings Louise Redknapp and Joe Nurding.
Dancing On Ice judges and partners Christopher Dean and Karen Barber, boyband singers Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy and social media stars Paul Olima and Jeremy Lynch complete the line up.
Love Island winner Toni Laites and her best friend Marielle are thought to be replacing Venezuela and husband Noah.
