One Piece: The Dominance Of God Officially Launches November 2026

One Piece cannot be stopped. Like Dragon Ball before it and many shows after, it's maintained its place as one of the quintessential shows to watch when you're getting into anime. That includes the extra reach it's gained from the live-action Netflix adaptation, which has brought in even more fans.

But at its core, One Piece is about the characters, and the anime has been running so long that there's plenty of them to go around. While the show and manga don't always follow the same cadence, side projects often do, giving fans new looks at the classic characters they know and love. We now know the Dominance of God release is coming soon,slated for sometime in November.

The One Piece card game continues its run of popularity, with sets selling out in some regions and causing massive shortages and scalping. In fact, I've seen it enjoy the same popularity as Pokémon in some cases, with most people in a retail line jockeying for One Piece cards rather than the former.

Recently, the game released The World's Strongest Warriors, butBandai Namco is gearing up for yet another release before the end of the year. The Dominance of God is the "OP-18" release for the One Piece card game, and follows The World's Strongest Warriors, known as "OP-17."

It's set for release sometime in November, and although the dates aren't nailed down yet, it will simul-release in Japan and English territories, so there won't be a major disparity. A Franky leader (Green/Purple) and a Purple/Black leader are confirmed.

It seems like OP-18 boxes will include 24 packs, with six cards per individual pack. This set may also include a new rarity, as well as cards designed by Yoshitaka Amano (of Final Fantasy fame). That alone should make this a highly desirable set. More details will arrive in the coming weeks, as Bandai Namco has only teased out some of this information, without fully confirming it.

Right now, fans speculate that Dominance of God could release on November 21 or November 28. Since an exact date isn't pinned down, but the simul-region release is confirmed, we can expect a global release date once Bandai Namco has finalized everything.

If you're a One Piece fan and haven't tried the card game, plenty of accessible starter decks and sets can teach you how everything works. If you're looking to collect, however, you might have a tougher time getting into it.
