Translate

EXCLUSIVE: The Motion Picture & Television fund has added UTA CEO David Kramer and Legendary Films’ Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer Blair Rich to its board of directors, while boosting its board of governors ranks with the addition of five new members.

The new members of the board of governors are WME’s Dan Aloni, UTA’s Rich Klubeck, Warner Bros’ Dana Nussbaum, Disney Entertainment’s Cathleen Taff, and NBCU’s Erin Underhill.

“We are incredibly fortunate to have these engaged members of our community step forward to guide MPTF in its mission-critical work today and in the future,” board of directors co-chairs Emma Thomas and Kevin McCormick said. “They and the companies they represent are the pillars of a resilient MPTF that will be sustained for this and the next generations of entertainment industry members.”

The entertainment industry nonprofit MPTF has provided more than $20 million in financial assistance and programs and services offerings to support the Hollywood workforce in their time of need, including the devastating 2025 L.A. wildfires.

Boosting the MTPF boards’ membership comes after Thomas and McCormick were elected the new board chairs in December. The latest additions to the board of governors were made in October 2025.

“The strength of our industry has always been its people, and MPTF has been a lifeline for the entertainment community, providing resources and support to those who need it most,” said Kramer. “As our industry continues to evolve, MPTF’s mission of taking care of our own has never been more important. I’m honored to join the Board to help ensure this extraordinary organization continues to support the people who have dedicated their lives to bringing meaningful stories to life.”

Said Rich: “As a second-generation member of this industry, I grew up in a culture where supporting the MPTF was both a point of pride and a shared responsibility It’s incredibly meaningful to me to join the board of directors and help galvanize our industry’s support, shine a brighter light on MPTF’s vital work and ensure it can continue serving as a safety net for the thousands of people who make our industry thrive, both on its campus and far beyond.”
