Ciggie Johnson Says He Could Still Pay School Fees for Girl He Raised But Only If…

Kenyan club host and content creator Ciggie Johnson has said he remains willing to support the education of the 12-year-old girl he raised, despite a DNA test showing that he is not her biological father.

Speaking on the Obinna Show Live, Ciggie said he could continue paying the girl’s school fees, but suggested that his willingness to do so would depend largely on his relationship with her mother and the circumstances under which he was asked to provide support.

The development follows the public disclosure of the DNA results on Saturday, October 3, 2026, when Ciggie shared an emotional Instagram video showing a phone conversation in which he confronted the girl’s mother about the results.

The video sparked widespread discussion online, with many people questioning what would happen to the relationship between Ciggie and the child, particularly regarding her education and welfare.

Ciggie sets conditions for continued support

During the interview, Ciggie was asked whether he would continue providing for the girl despite learning that she was not biologically his.

His response suggested that his relationship with the child’s mother would influence his decision.

“If the mother was nice to me, why not?” he said.

Ciggie spoke harshly about the woman, describing her as “a bitter pill” and saying he could no longer bear being around her, hearing her voice or sharing the same space with her.

‘If the child calls me directly, I’ll give her whatever’

Despite his anger and disappointment, Ciggie acknowledged that 12 years of raising the girl had created a bond between them.

He argued, however, that the relationship had been formed under circumstances he now believes were based on false information.

“I was blackmailed to eat,” he said, describing what he felt was the pressure he faced to accept the child as his own.

Nevertheless, Ciggie said the door remained open for the girl herself.

“If the child calls me directly, without even her mother’s consent, I’ll give the child whatever,” he said.

He added that if she contacted him seeking school fees and addressed him as “sir” rather than “dad”, he would still be willing to assist.

“I do anything for the child,” he said.

‘I wanted the child to be mine’

Ciggie also revealed the emotional conflict he experienced when he received the DNA results.

Despite everything that had happened, he admitted that part of him had hoped the test would confirm that the girl was his biological daughter.

“I wanted the child to be mine,” he said.

The admission offered a glimpse into the emotional impact of the revelation after years of believing and presenting himself as the girl’s father.

Ciggie also questioned whether emotional bonds formed over many years can survive betrayal and a major revelation about a relationship.

“How many people have you loved and loved not? What happened to the bond?” he asked.
