Nairobi International Book Fair targets 60,000 visitors

 It is that time of the year when schools across the country are gearing up for end-of-year examinations — and Nairobi is also preparing for its biggest celebration of books.

The 27th Nairobi International Book Fair (NIBF), organised by the Kenya Publishers Association (KPA), opens at the Sarit Expo Centre next Wednesday, September 23, running until Sunday, September 27. For five days, the city will become a meeting point for readers, authors, publishers, teachers, booksellers and other players in the book industry.
