Fat Joe is back at NPR for his second Tiny Desk Concert, which arrived on Thursday (Nov. 5). Joey Crack made sure to bring some friends with him, as Remy Ma, Jadakiss and Stove God Cooks brought the Big Apple flair down I-95 to Washington, D.C.

Joe told NPR he wanted to “touch the third rail” with his return to NPR, making him join the short list of artists to notch a second Tiny Desk Concert. The Bronx rapper took it back to his roots and ran through 30 years’ worth of hits for the nine-track setlist.

Fat Joe kicked things off by bringing out his Terror Squad sister Remy Ma for “Cocababy,” before heading into the Soul II Soul-sampling “(Ha Ha) Slow Down” and LL COOL J’s “I Shot Ya.”

“Y’all bout to hear some f–kery in the background. We tryna get thrown out this b—h,” Joe proclaimed.

Jadakiss — a fellow Tiny Desk alum — made his first two cameos for Ja Rule’s “New York.” Kiss took it back to his viral rant blasting Cam’ron at the 2021 Verzuz battle between The LOX and Dipset, which saw him shading Cam for moving out of NYC.

Joey Crack made sure to big up his orange and blue ties with a “Knicks in five” shout-out, which has become a greeting around the Big Apple following the Knicks’ 2026 championship run.

The NPR stage got a bit busy when Joe assembled Kiss, Remy and Stove God Cooks to assist on “The Aroma,” which landed on the Bronx native’s Organized Rhyme album in August.

Stevie Mackey, who Joe hailed as “your favorite singer’s favorite singer,” stepped up from his backup vocalist duties to guest on “Feelin A Way” and fill in for J. Holiday on “I Won’t Tell.”

Fat Joe saved his fastball for a strong close with a pair of timeless anthems, raising the roof for Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 smash “Lean Back” and “All the Way Up.” “Salute Tiny Desk, thank you so much,” Joe said before departing.

To date, the 56-year-old has notched 20 entries on the Hot 100, including another two top 10 hits: “What’s Luv” featuring Ashanti as well as the Nelly-lifted “Get It Poppin’.”
