What happens when an iconic fashion label, behind what’s lovingly referred to as the “Bushwick Birkin,” joins forces with a brand that was able to win over blue-collar workers and hip-hop legends alike since its official arrival on the scene in 1973?
A bunch of “sold out” notifications, apparently.
We’re talking about Telfar Clemens’ eponymous company — repping a kind of genderless, deconstructed minimalism that’s been endorsed by everyone from Selena Gomez to Zoë Kravitz — and its buzz-generating collaboration with none other than Timberland in the fall of last year.
When the duo first unveiled their tight edit of co-branded pieces (including various sizes of Telfar’s famed Shopping Bag, reimagined for the occasion at hand, and three iterations of a new-and-improved Timberland Premium 6-Inch Waterproof Boot), it’s safe to say fans collectively lost it: Pieces sold out within minutes.
If you couldn’t claim one of the collector-worthy selections in time, you’ll be happy to know that Telfar and Timberland believe in second chances.
On Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. ET, the collection will get its final restock ever. Specifically at timberland.com, shoppers will have an opportunity to grab one of the drop’s most coveted shoe styles: the Timberland x Telfar Premium Pull-On Boot, anticipated to go live in two distinct shades (Black Nubuck and Wheat Nubuck) for every type of dresser.
HOT COMMODITY
Timberland x Telfar Premium Pull-On Boot
Timberland’s generation-defining boot gets blessed with the slouch it’s always craved in this release. Other features to look forward to? An anti-fatigue footbed that absorbs shock while delivering around-the-clock support and a reenvisioned upper made of buffed nubuck leather that can be folded down to reveal Telfar’s signature saying: “Not for you, for everyone.”
CLASSIC COLORWAY
Timberland x Telfar Premium Pull-On Boot
You’ll want to sport this unisex, mid-length beaut with everything from camo-printed cargo pants to retro tracksuits. Somehow, it manages to balance softness with sturdy durability (and can certainly last a lifetime with proper care).
The two partners opened the floor for pre-orders in August, once again proving just how desperate people were to get their hands on this “New York soul–meets–rugged Americana” capsule.
Not only are the footwear silhouettes now veritable status symbols — with tastemakers like Beyoncé, Megan Thee Stallion, and Jordan Chiles being spotted in their Timberland x Telfar acquisitions circa 2025 — but each one feels particularly practical for the season that’s upon us, what with those waterproof, supple leather uppers; lug outsoles for traction on all surfaces; and colorways that subdue Halloween‘s orange-and-black visual vocabulary.
“Timberland boots come out each fall like the leaves change color. More than one city, and more than one branch of our culture, sounds and styles find their root down in a Yellow Boot,” the brand said in a release. “We took that ephemeral swagger, then took it to new heights.”
The brands’ recent joint Instagram post, which soft-launched the aforementioned final restock, received a ton of engagement: in the form of thousands of likes and fire-emoji reactions on repeat. This is yet another sign that once the Timberland x Telfar lineup lands online, it will fly off shelves just as quickly.
