Dungeons & Dragons Gets Another World Of Warcraft Release In 2027

Ever-popular MMO World of Warcraft is about to get another crossover with tabletop RPG Dungeons & Dragons. For ages, the two fantasy games have existed entirely separate from one another, despite significant overlap in player base. Now, though, D&D is getting a WoW crossover, in the form of species, magic items, spells, dungeons, monsters, and professions from the MMO, which will soon be available in D&D.
That's not all, though: D&D is also getting a physical release to celebrate the crossover, with new collectibles coming soon for World of Warcraft fans who also happen to love Dungeons & Dragons.
Sirius Dice has revealed new D&D-WoW crossover dice sets, scheduled for release in November 2026. Each set comes with seven dice — everything you need to play a game of D&D — themed after characters, factions, and classes from World of Warcraft.
First, there's the For the Horde and For the Alliance Adventure Dice sets, pictured above. These dice collections allow you to show your allegiance to your favorite World of Warcraft faction, with glittering gold and blue dice in the Alliance set and crimson red and black for the Horde.
The Adventure Dice also feature special designs inspired by the relevant WoW factions, with insignia representing the Alliance or the Horde printed on their faces. These dice sets will run $39.99 each, and will be available in hobby shops beginning this November. Additional World of Warcraft-themed Adventure Dice sets will be released in spring 2027.
Coming a little later, in March 2027, Sirius Dice will put out a line of "treasure pack" dice sets under the Icons of Azeroth line. These blind bags are priced at $19.99 each, and may contain either a Common, Rare, or Ultra-Chase set of D&D dice. Each set will be inspired by a WoW character, class, or faction, and come with a handy little silicone storage case for taking your dice on the go.
Also available in March 2020: a "Collectible Gargantuan d20," an oversized version of the standard D&D die. The d20 will be fully usable for tabletop play, and contains miniature models of an Orc Grunt and Human Footman inside its clear resin. This collectible will run you $54.99.
Finally, beginning summer 2027, you'll be able to pick up a series of mini dice cups featuring characters from World of Warcraft for $19.99 each. Like the treasure pack dice sets, these come in blind boxes with a randomly-selected character design. The full lineup of heroes and villains to be included will be revealed at a later date.
Of course, all of this comes as we draw closer to the full release of World of Warcraft: Forever, a new MMO representing an updated, alternate-continuity version of the original WoW setting. The MMO is currently available in beta and comes out for all players on October 21.
So, whether you're a longtime World of Warcraft fan looking to get into Dungeons & Dragons, or a frequent tabletop player looking to add some Azeroth-style flair to the table, you'll want to keep an eye out for these collectibles starting this November. Further details of the later dice sets will be revealed closer to launch.
