KUALA LUMPUR: The 24-year-old driver of a BYD Seal involved in a six-vehicle crash that killed a five-year-old girl along Jalan Kuching on Saturday was charged with three traffic offences in the magistrate's court today.

Raeven Goh Wey Haur, dressed in a green T-shirt and handcuffed in the dock, pleaded not guilty to causing the death of Asiah Ahmad Syahir by reckless driving, driving in a manner that posed a danger to other motorists, and failing to stop and report an accident.

He allegedly committed the offences at 3.44pm on Oct 10 along Jalan Kuching, heading from the city towards Segambut.

Goh, who appeared calm, entered his pleas after the charges were read out before magistrate Aliaa Anwar.
