Bea Alonzo ‘on cloud nine’ one month into marriage with Vincent Co

Bea Alonzo opened up for the first time about her intimate July wedding to businessman Vincent Co, saying their decision to keep it from the public was “the right thing to do.”

The actress spoke about her marriage during a recent brand event, as seen in an interview on GMA’s “24 Oras” on Thursday, Aug. 13.

“I didn’t realize. Ang bilis. How time flies, no?” she told entertainment reporter Nelson Canlas, referring to her being married to Co for a month already.

“Right now, I’m on cloud nine. I’m very, very happy. Syempre, we wake up right next to each other every day and it’s special to me,” she stated.

Looking back at her secret wedding, Alonzo admitted that it was not initially intended to be a surprise but that she wanted to savor the special moment with the businessman.

“It wasn’t supposed to be a surprise. It was just—it felt like it was the right thing to do,” she said.

“Honestly, I didn’t think that it’s something I really need to share. Hindi naman sa pinagdadamot but at that point, parang I felt like I just wanted it to be mine and his. I wanted it to be about us and no one else,” she underscored.

Alonzo and Co’s romance was confirmed to the public in 2025. The pair got married on July 13 at the office of Makati Mayor Nancy Binay.
