Ethan Klein Confirms He’ll ‘Remove Ownership’ From ‘H3 Podcast’ After Wife Accuses Him of Cheating

Ethan Klein has confirmed he is working to cut ties financially and ownership-wise from his H3 Podcast following allegations that he cheated on his wife, Hila Klein.

“I am working with Hila to urgently remove my ownership and financial stakes in any podcasts, Teddy Fresh, Teddy Glow or any joint venture that I would profit from,” he wrote on his Instagram Story on Friday, referring to his wife’s fashion and beauty brands. “All of your support will go directly to Hila and the crew. I do this in the hope that people can still support Hila and the crew without the concern of enriching me.”

He added: “I know the crew will make an awesome show, they are packed to the brim with the most talented, creative, hilarious and all around great people.”

The news comes after Klein’s wife, YouTuber Hila Klein, accused her husband and podcast cohost earlier on Friday of having a more than six-month-long affair with an unnamed person in a lengthy statement on Instagram. “I am living in a nightmare I can’t wake up from,” she wrote. “My husband has been having an affair. I have been fed lie after lie after lie for months. I am tired of lies. Here is the truth.”

She went on to write that she sensed something was amiss, and when she asked him about it “I was met with dismissive answers and no action. Things that bothered me continued to bother me, and he did nothing about it.”

She added that she trusted and loved him and stopped questioning him about it. But then “he was caught in a lie, and I knew I was done. But the lies continued. ‘It was just a kiss’ became ‘it was emotional cheating’ … He finally admitted he’d been in an affair for over 6 months, the extent of which I’m sure I still don’t know.”

She wrote that she felt betrayed. “The person I loved and trusted for 20 years evaporated overnight,” she wrote, adding, “I don’t know what comes next,” and that “I am in survival mode, trying to navigate separation, co-parenting, and unthinkable heartbreak. All I can do write now is focus on taking care of myself and my children, one day at a time.”

The crew from the podcast also issued a statement, which backed Hila, writing that they are “shocked, angry, and heartbroken to learn about Ethan’s ongoing affair” and shared that they “stand with Hila.” They also wrote, “As soon as we found out, we all agreed: we would not continue working with Ethan involved or profiting in any way. We don’t yet know what that means for the future. There’s a lot to work through, and we wish we had more answers for you. We all deserved better: Hila, us, and you.”

While Ethan Klein, who had previously cohosted podcasts with both Trisha Paytas and Hasan Piker, did not comment on being accused of having an affair, he asked for privacy. “I know a lot of people are understandably looking for a comment from me, but I ask that you please respect my family’s privacy and do not contact them looking for me or asking for their comments. They have nothing to do with this and share in your outrage and disappointment. Thank you.”
