Claudia Winkleman is returning to the Scottish Highlands for a second run of The Celebrity Traitors - and it's coming back very soon!

The BBC recently confirmed that the new series begins next month with an extra-long opening episode as 21 celebrities prepare to play the ultimate game of detection, trust and betrayal.

There will also be an exclusive bonus episode this year in which viewers will find out how Claudia chooses her Traitors in Traitor or Faithful? Claudia Decides.

But when does all the action kick off? Read on for everything you need to know about The Celebrity Traitors season 2.

The Celebrity Traitors season 2 begins on Thursday 1 October at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.

The series will air two nights a week on Thursday and Friday evenings at 8pm.
