Rapid KL's Putrajaya MRT back in service after train brake fault

KUALA LUMPUR: Rapid KL's Putrajaya MRT line is back in service from 9.32am today after a train experiencing a brake system fault at Jalan Ipoh station was removed from service.

Rapid KL said alternative train services activated during the disruption had since been discontinued, while train frequency was being adjusted gradually to stabilise operations.

"Rapid KL apologises for the inconvenience caused to passengers during the disruption and appreciates their patience and cooperation," it said in a Facebook post today.

Earlier, Rapid KL said the Putrajaya Line was experiencing delays after a train was unable to move due to a brake system fault at Jalan Ipoh station.

Its operations team had activated alternative train services to assist passengers, while technical teams were deployed to inspect the affected system and carry out recovery works.
