Dune 3 hailed as "life-changing" as sensational final trailer lands ahead of December release

It's now just under two months until Dune: Part Three hits the big screen, and a brand-new trailer for the conclusion of Denis Villeneuve's epic sci-fi saga has now been released to ramp up the anticipation further.
Based on Frank Herbert's collection of novels, the film takes place nearly two decades after its predecessor, with Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) having become a ruthless leader during the intervening years.
Now a widely-feared Emperor, Paul is haunted by visions of his past, and is soon thrust into a new conspiracy when former love Chani (Zendaya) reappears at the same time as the emergence of a dangerous new foe.

With a release primed for the middle of December, Warner Bros Pictures has unveiled a new full-length trailer, which begins with Paul ruthlessly interrogating his oppressed wife Irulan (Florence Pugh).
She informs him that an assassination attempt is in the works, with Chani being involved with new villain Scytale (Robert Pattinson). Naturally, there's plenty of action and worm-riding in the clip, too.
The new clip has certainly made fans even more excited for the film, with one user writing on Reddit: "Bro I don't care this is gonna go down as an all-time trilogy up there with Star Wars and Lord Of The Rings."
"I can't remember the last time we had a blockbuster trilogy this good," opined another excited viewer, while a third noted: "This is going to be life-changing. The visuals also look so good."
Directed by Villeneuve, who co-wrote the screenplay with Brian K Vaughan, the sci-fi epic boasts a stellar cast which also features Jason Momoa, Rebecca Ferguson, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlotte Rampling, Javier Bardem and Josh Brolin.

"Dune: Part Three is set nearly two decades after Paul Atreides seized control of the Imperium," reads the logline. "Now a ruthless Emperor, Paul must face the consequences of his reign as old allies return, terrifying new threats emerge and betrayal lurks in every shadow.
"Haunted by visions of Imperial collapse and the reappearance of his long-lost love, Paul is drawn into a sweeping conspiracy, with Chani at the heart of its unfolding mystery. As enemies close in, Paul must confront the true cost of power and the fate of those he loves the most."
Dune: Part Three is released in cinemas on 18 December.
