Go Fishing With Twisted Teens in Video for “I Spend My Time Crying”

Translate

Twisted Teens released their latest album, The Holy Cross Tigers, today on Sub Pop, and they’re celebrating the big day with a music video for its song “I Spend My Time Crying.” It’s another visual stunner courtesy of Jack Massucci, the same director behind the band’s “Florida Water Blues” video. In it, a young kid traverses New Orleans to fish, goes door to door selling his game, and learns how to drive, among other things. A certain calico guinea pig makes an appearance, too. Watch the video below.

The Holy Cross Tigers is Twisted Teens’ third full-length LP of 2026. It follows January’s Blame the Clown and July’s Florida Water Blues, as well as their 2024 debut self-titled album. “I Spend My Time Crying” takes a different route compared to “Stalks” and “When We First Met,” downshifting into a more acoustic guitar-driven sway.

Twisted Teens are currently on tour through the end of the year. Once they wrap up this leg opening for Kurt Vile and the Violators, they fly to Australia for their own run of shows as headliners. In 2027, the band will perform at a handful of high-profile festivals, too, including Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Best Kept Secret in the Netherlands.
