I never expected this script to come to me, and my thanks to director Ramesh Varma for bringing this script to me and making this happen,” he wrote.

'Mahaveer Karna' marks the first collaboration between Raghava Lawrence and filmmaker Ramesh Varma. The director is known for films including Khiladi and Rakshasudu.

While Lawrence has been officially announced as the central character, the makers have not yet disclosed the complete cast.
