Bank of America's (BAC) three departures in August prompted management to reach out to staff to try to contain more possible losses, Reuters reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
Executives are concerned about a steady loss of senior rainmakers during a capital-markets boom, sources reportedly said.
"We have recruited dozens of senior bankers this year from our major competitors, reflecting the strength of our platform and the breadth of solutions to serve clients across the US and around the world," a BofA spokesperson told Reuters.
