Police trace 3 men in viral Mercedes window stunt

SUBANG JAYA: Police have traced three men after a viral video showed two passengers sitting partially outside the windows of a moving Mercedes-Benz along the New Pantai Expressway (NPE).

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said the 31-second video went viral at 7.35pm yesterday and showed a Mercedes-Benz C200 carrying a driver and two passengers.

He said the passengers, one seated in the front and the other in the rear, were seen sitting on the vehicle's door frames while it was travelling along the expressway.

"The car was travelling from Jalan SS15 towards Subang Jaya at the time," he said in a statement today.

Wan Azlan said police subsequently traced the driver and two passengers involved, all of whom are men aged 20.

He said the case is being investigated under Section 47 of the Road Transport Act 1987.

The investigation is being conducted by the Subang Jaya district police Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division.
