Dillard's deepens ties to the Lone Star State with a move to the Texas Stock Exchange

Dillard's (DDS) announced that it will voluntarily transfer the primary listings of its securities to the Texas Stock Exchange from the New York Stock Exchange. The exchange switch will become effective on October 5.
The Little Rock, Arkansas-headquartered company said the move aligns Dillard's (DDS) deep roots and strong retail presence in Texas. Dillard's (DDS) Texas heritage dates back to 1956, when founder William Dillard acquired a store in downtown Tyler. The Lone Star State has since grown into the company's largest market, now home to 54 locations. Notably, Dillard's (DDS) reincorporated from Delaware to Texas in August 2025.
The Texas Stock Exchange, colloquially known as "Y’all Street," is a fully electronic national securities exchange based in Dallas, Texas. Backed by $250M from major financial heavyweights like BlackRock (BLK) and Citadel Securities, the exchange launched live trading in July. It was created to directly compete with legacy giants like the NYSE and Nasdaq. The platform aims to provide a highly efficient, lower-cost alternative for public listings and primary exchange-traded funds.
