MANILA, Philippines – On Day 31 of Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial, her brother, Davao City Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte is expected to take the witness stand Tuesday, with his testimony expected to focus on the city government transactions with GenCorp Industries Inc., a company declared by the vice president as a business interest in her 2024 and 2025 SALNs.

The court earlier granted Baste Duterte’s request for more time to gather, organize, authenticate and reproduce subpoenaed documents, including records covering the city government’s transactions with GenCorp. /dp
