1 'The Love Hypothesis' (2026)

You don't have to be at the theater to catch the freshest releases. New to Prime Video this weekend is The Love Hypothesis, based on the New York Times best-selling novel by Ali Hazelwood, which follows Ph.D. candidate Olive (Lili Reinhart) who, in a blurry moment after learning of some terrible romantically relevant news, impulsively kisses intimidating professor Adam Carlsen (Tom Bateman).

A funny, light-hearted, and romantic new film sure to fill your weekend with joy, you should join the rest of the Prime Video subscriber base in watching The Love Hypothesis. 2 'The Fire Inside' (2024)

The sports biopic The Fire Inside follows Calressa “T-Rex” Shields as she bids to become a pioneer in women's boxing at the Olympic Games.

Marking the directorial debut of Academy Award-nominated cinematographer Rachel Morrison (Moonlight), this streaming gem is packed with thought-provoking content and a gripping central story that will stay with you long after the credits roll. Penned by Morrison's Moonlight colleague Barry Jenkins, the film stars Ryan Destiny (Star), Academy Award nominee Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta), Oluniké Adeliyi (The Expanse), and De'Adre Aziza (She’s Gotta Have It).

3 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' (2019)

One of the most anticipated streaming releases still to come in 2026 is The Adventures of Cliff Booth, which is scheduled to premiere on Netflix worldwide on December 23. The film will feature Brad Pitt reprising the role that won him the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award, and will be penned by Quentin Tarantino, directed by David Fincher, and will also star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Elizabeth Debicki, Carla Gugino, and Scott Caan.

Before Cliff Booth returns, check out the Tarantino epic that put his character on the map. Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, the 2019 historical drama set in 1969 Los Angeles, is one of the most ambitious and indulgent films available on Prime Video, thanks to Tarantino's typically eccentric style, Pitt's Oscar-winning performance, and the supporting cast that features a surprising number of future Hollywood mainstays: Margaret Qualley, Sydney Sweeney, Austin Butler, Maya Hawke, and future Best Actress Academy Award winner Mikey Madison among them.
