Journey drummer Deen Castronovo was rushed to the hospital after suffering a medical emergency onstage Thursday night at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

According to Tulsa World, the incident happened two songs into the show, with the band exiting the stage as keyboardist Jonathan Cain told the audience, “So we’re gong to see what happens as this progresses. It’s an unfortunate situation. We’re very sorry. We’re hoping it’s only a delay, but please — I’m sorry. Don’t worry. Have your prayers ready. Have your prayers ready for Deen Castronovo, everybody. Thank you.”

A couple minutes later, guitarist Neal Schon returned to the stage to tell the crowd that the concert would resume with Castronovo’s drum tech Steve Toomey behind the kit, saying, “Give a big hand for Steve Toomey. We’ll be back in about 15 minutes. We love you all. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience.”

Once the concert resumed, singer Arnel Pineda also asked for prayers for Castronovo, and Schon later telling the audience, “This concert is for Deen. I think he’s going to be fine.”

Journey are in the midst of their “Final Frontier” farewell tour, with their current North American leg running through a November 28th show in the band’s hometown of San Francisco. Ticket for the upcoming shows are available here.
