First airing back in 2019 with events taking place five years after the story of 1983's Return of the Jedi, The Mandalorian took the Star Wars fanbase by storm, especially thanks to its inclusion of the adorable Grogu.

Starring a helmet-clad Pedro Pascal, the story follows the titular character who must protect a Force-sensitive child known as Grogu from remaining Imperial Forces.

When Star Wars creator George Lucas discovered that developing a live-action Star Wars television series would be too expensive, he sold Lucasfilm to Disney back in 2012 and this is when The Mandalorian, and plenty of other Star Wars projects, finally began development. Now consisting of three seasons and 24 episodes, as well as a feature film titled The Mandalorian and Grogu, the franchise has become a staple of the Star Wars universe, and now, it is back in a brand-new release.

Released back in 2024, The Mandalorian: Adventures is a strategy card and board game combination which is set to welcome a brand-new expansion inspired by the third season of the Disney show.

Created by Unexpected Games, The Mandalorian: Adventures - Sworn to the Creed is set to launch this Fall with the newly-expanded cooperative game system offering a brand-new fully-fledged campaign to get stuck into for 1-4 players.

Whilst the new campaign is already alluring enough, what is more exciting about this upcoming expansion is the news that players will finally be able to take on the role of Grogu himself. Available alongside two other brand-new characters, including The Armorer, each character launches alongside their own abilities, story, and game-changing powers.

"I can't wait for folks to see what we have in store for them with the Sworn to the Creed expansion!" Game Designer, Joshua Beppler shared. "We got to explore some really fun playstyles for some of our favorite characters.”

On top of a new campaign and three characters, players can also look forward to new game systems and missions, both of which are compatible with the base game and its Clan of Two game expansion.

With our new systems, you’ll have the opportunity to pilot the N-1 starfighter and attempt to outmaneuver new ‘High Alert’ enemies!

Whilst The Mandalorian: Adventures game and The Mandalorian: Adventures – Clan of Two are now available to purchase, its next expansion, Sworn to the Creed, will not be fully launched until Fall 2026. However, it will make its debut in Summer 2026 at UKGE, Gen Con and GAMA.

If you are a fan of The Mandalorian and want to play as the adorable Grogu across a series of epic campaigns, look no further than The Mandalorian: Adventures now.
