Sterling Pleads Guilty To Dangerous Driving After Crashing Lamborghini On Motorway

Translate

Raheem Sterling has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving after crashing his Lamborghini Urus on the M3 in May.

The former England international appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.

It followed his arrest in Hampshire on May 28 for crashing into motorway barriers on the M3 before being charged last month.

According to talkSPORT, Sterling also admitted to possessing nitrous oxide for wrongful inhalation and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.

The 31-year-old was in possession of six canisters of the Class C drug nitrous oxide at the time of the accident.

He has pleaded guilty to driving dangerously on the M25, M3, A327 and Minley Road prior to the crash.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident, with no injuries reported.

The crash occurred heading southbound on the M3 close to the Minley interchange.

Sterling is currently without a club after leaving Feyenoord this summer.

The winger joined the Dutch club on a deal until the end of the season in February.

He made eight appearances during his time in the Netherlands, providing one assist.

His arrival came after Chelsea terminated Sterling’s contract in January following three-and-a-half years at Stamford Bridge.
