Alanis Morissette has officially announced her previously teased holiday album, revealing on Friday (Oct. 9) that it is slated to arrive Nov. 6, and dropping lead single “Beautiful Star of Bethlehem” featuring Brandi Carlile and Steve Martin.

After years of releasing festive singles each Christmastime, the singer will finally release her first-ever full-length holiday set. It’ll boast a total of 14 tracks, including two originals titled “Christmas on the Dancefloor” and “To An Empath at Christmas Time.” Morissette is also welcoming a handful of collaborators on the project, with Joy Oladokun duetting on a cover of “Silent Night,” Amythyst Kiah guesting on “Momma Mary” and Trans Voices — the U.K.’s first professional vocal ensemble of trans and nonbinary singers — appearing on “O Tannenbaum.”

“This record is just so sweet,” Morissette told Alex Cooper on Call Her Daddy in September, before the holiday album was formally announced. “It’s just been this labor of Christmas love for me.”

The musician released her cover of John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s “Happy Xmas (War Is Over)” in 2020, followed by “Little Drummer Boy” in 2022, “Last Christmas” in 2023 and “O Holy Night” in 2024. All of the seasonal covers have found a home on Good Weather for Immaculate Conception, which comes four years after Morissette’s most recent LP, The Storm Before the Calm.
