Roma refuse to let Dybala and Molina attend final Messi match

Roma have reportedly refused a request for Paulo Dybala and Nahuel Molina to attend Lionel Messi’s final Argentina match on October 6.

It is set to be a celebration of Messi’s career as he hangs up his international boots for good, having won the World Cup and two editions of the Copa America.

Dybala and Molina won’t be at Messi party

Everyone in Argentinean football wants to be there at the iconic Monumental in Buenos Aires to say goodbye when Messi pulls on the Albiceleste jersey for the last time against Bolivia.

However, his former teammates Dybala and Molina will not be part of the event, because Roma refused their request for time off to attend.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Tuttomercatoweb and Radio Mana Mana, coach Gian Piero Gasperini wants the players to avoid such a long intercontinental flight so close to the crucial Serie A match against Como on October 11.

Dybala was not called up to the squad, while Molina is serving a seven-match suspension following the chaos of the 2026 World Cup Final against Spain.
