FIFA U-20 WWC: English FA Congratulates Falconets On Qualification To Quarterfinal

The English Football Association has has sent a congratulatory message to Nigeria’s Falconets, following their qualification to the quarterfinals of the FIFA women’s U-20 World Cup on Thursday.

The Falconets sealed their place in the last eight after a dominant 3-0 win against the Young Lionesses of England.

Goals from Tosin Rafiu, Janet Akekoromowei and Mary Mamudu secured the win for coach Moses Aduku side.

Reacting after the game, the English FA wrote on the Lionesses’ X handle;”Our U20 #YoungLionesses FIFA World Cup journey has come to an end 💔”
