Oosterwolde sent back to Fenerbahce after failed Roma medical

Roma have decided not to sign Jayden Oosterwolde after a failed medical, claim Sky Sport Italia, so the player returns to Fenerbahce amid reports he’ll be out for at least two months.
The agreement had been reached between the two clubs last week, making it a loan for €1m with option to buy for another €15m plus add-ons at the end of the season.
That would become an obligation if certain conditions were met, but the Giallorossi were concerned that he has not played since early August due to a thigh injury.
Oosterwolde injury record worried Roma
Those worries were confirmed when he underwent his medical tests this week, and further tests suggested Oosterwolde could be out of action until December or even January.
It was reported earlier today that Roma were prepared to sign the Dutchman anyway on a free loan, but it seems as if the negotiations with Fenerbahce broke down.
Sky Sport Italia claim this evening that the entire move has been abandoned, so the 25-year-old is flying back to Istanbul.
