Twitch streamer HAchubby has pulled out of her upcoming TwitchCon plans after getting a cancer diagnosis. The South Korean content creator told viewers during an emotional livestream, and she had a hard time holding back tears while talking about what doctors said. She backed it up with an update on X on November 5, saying she was getting ready to travel to South Korea for treatment. She also voiced worry that the cancer could be close to spreading, though doctors have yet to determine its stage. Right now she's busy putting her medical records and trip preparations together.
I was diagnosed with cancer today. It seems like it may be close to spreading, so I'm planning to go to Korea right away for treatment. Sadly, I had to cancel my TwitchCon plans. Please don't worry too much. I found good doctor and I'll keep streaming from Korea, too.

HAchubby Breaks Down During Livestream After Doctors Confirm Her Cancer Diagnosis
HAchubby first talked about her health on a November 4 livestream. Almost two hours in, she got emotional while checking her phone and shared the news with viewers.
“They said I have cancer. They still don't know what's the... they don't know the details yet,”she said during the broadcast.
She went on to say she was still waiting on more information about the diagnosis. Her Korean translator also passed along that doctors had found “some aggressive things” during the examination.
HAchubby admitted she didn't know how serious the condition was at that point, and she mentioned pain in one specific area but gave no further medical details.
Her November 5 update named the chance of the cancer spreading as a major concern. But the exact stage and type of cancer haven't been made public.
HAchubby Cancels TwitchCon Appearance and Plans to Travel to South Korea for Treatment
HAchubby confirmed she would be travelling to South Korea as soon as possible to start treatment. Her TwitchCon plans got cancelled too.
“I found good doctor and I'll keep streaming from Korea, too,”she wrote on X, asking people not to worry too much.
She explained that she was collecting her medical test results and records while packing for the trip. Her US hospital was also expected to send her medical information over to Korea, so her new doctors could take over her care.
Several familiar names from streaming responded to the announcement. Imane “Pokimane” Anys wished her a speedy recovery, writing, “wishing you a speedy treatment & recovery hachu.” Twitch's official account sent its best wishes as well, and JakenBakeLIVE, Sweet Anita, T10Nat and CodeMiko were among other creators who left supportive messages.
HAchubby also told her community she plans to keep streaming while she gets treatment in South Korea. On the messages from friends and fellow creators, she said she wasn't deliberately ignoring anyone.
With medical paperwork and travel arrangements eating up her time, she'd try to reply to everyone during her flight to Korea.
She hasn't yet shared the specific cancer type or the final findings from her doctors.
