Wilson, Learoyd, Knott fifties power Australia A's successful 339-chase

Captain Tahlia Wilson's 79, backed up by a 29-ball 54 from Anika Learoyd and a 37-ball 63 from Charli Knott helped Australia A chase down a daunting 339-run target in the last over against India A in the second unofficial women's ODI in Mohali.
Leading the three-match series 1-0, India A chose to bat and put up a solid show, with Yastika Bhatia smashing 112 off 84 balls, with 16 fours and two sixes. Priya Punia and Tanisha Singh first added 58 runs for the opening wicket before the Bhatia show began. She added 60 runs for the second wicket with Tanisha and then shared a 124-run stand with Tejal Hasabnis.
Bhatia raced past fifty in just 45 balls and upped her scoring rate soon after. She hit two fours against Knott in the 32nd over to push India A past 200 before taking on Knott in her next over, smashing two fours and a six to bring up a 79-ball century.
Once Bhatia fell in the 36th over, it was Anushka Sharma's turn to pile on the agony, as she hit an unbeaten 46-ball 60 to take India A to 338 for 6. For Australia, Darcie Brown picked up 3 for 39, while Milly Illingworth returned 2 for 44.
Australia A lost Nicole Faltum fairly early in the chase, but Learoyd counterattacked brilliantly. She dominated a 76-run second-wicket stand with Wilson, crashing nine fours and two sixes before being stumped off Minnu Mani. Wilson and Knott then added 92 runs for the third wicket in 10.3 overs as Australia A breezed past 200 inside 25 overs. With the required rate below six an over, Australia A were coasting to a win but India A struck back with quick wickets.
Mani accounted for Wilson and Knott while Vaishnavi Sharma removed Katie Mack as Australia slipped to 219 for 5 from 202 for 2. Tess Flintoff and Hayley Silver-Holmes, however, held their own in a 65-run sixth-wicket stand.
There was another brief collapse late in the innings, but Illingworth scored an unbeaten 22 off 14 to take Australia A to victory with three balls to spare and square the series 1-1.
