Brenda Ochieng Reveals UK-Based Boyfriend Supporting Her After Stevo Simple Boy Split
Brenda Ochieng, the former partner of Kenyan rapper Stevo Simple Boy, has revealed that she is dating a man based in the United Kingdom who has been supporting her financially, including during her pregnancy.
Speaking on Oga Obinna’s show on Monday, October 26, 2026, Brenda said her new partner lives abroad and keeps a low profile, avoiding social media.
The revelation comes days after her highly publicised separation from Stevo, following DNA test results reportedly establishing that the musician was not the biological father of her child.
Brenda made it clear that she had moved on and was not single, adding that her boyfriend plans to visit Kenya.
“I am dating, but my partner is not in Kenya, but he will come. He is not on social media,” she said.
Brenda reveals how UK-based boyfriend supported her
During the interview, Brenda explained that she first met the man while working at a hotel, with their connection beginning before she became pregnant.
She claimed that he had continued sending her money, including during her pregnancy when she needed financial support.
According to Brenda, the man had wanted to meet her while she was pregnant, but she declined his request at the time.
Despite the distance, she said her boyfriend had also developed an affectionate bond with her child.
“He also loves the kid,” she noted.
Brenda did not disclose the man’s identity, choosing instead to share details about their relationship and the financial and emotional support she says he has provided.
Her revelation offers a glimpse into her personal life following the breakdown of her relationship with Stevo, with whom she had been raising her son.
Brenda disputes claims she mistreated Stevo
Brenda also addressed criticism from people who accused her of hurting Stevo during their relationship, arguing that the public did not know the full story.
She particularly took issue with claims that the rapper had done a lot for her, insisting that the narrative did not reflect her experience.
“That is why I was annoyed that people were saying I hurt Simple Boy despite all he did for me. He did nothing for me,” she said.
Her remarks offer a different perspective on the relationship, which attracted widespread attention following the DNA dispute.
Stevo announced their separation on October 20, saying the test results had been difficult to process and asking the public to respect his privacy.
Brenda has since shared her own account of their relationship, challenging some of the claims surrounding their breakup.
Her latest disclosure has shifted attention to her new relationship and the support she says she receives from her UK-based boyfriend.
