Billboard Latin Music Week 2026: Meet the Chart-Topping Speakers
Landing a song or album on the Billboard charts is a defining moment for any artist, label and creative team. Billboard Latin Music Week celebrates those milestones while offering behind-the-scenes insight into how chart-topping hits come together. This year’s event features an all-star lineup of panels and conversations with more than 40 artists—most of whom have earned at least one No. 1 on a Billboard chart.
The longest-running global gathering of Latin music’s icons and industry leaders returns to Faena Forum Miami Beach Oct. 19–22 for insightful programming, including Q&As, candid conversations, live showcases, roundtables, networking opportunities, activations and Billboard En Vivo spotlighting the best of Latin music. The event culminates Oct. 22 with the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards, airing live on Telemundo and available to stream on the Telemundo app, Peacock and Telemundo Internacional throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
The ceremony honors the artists and musicians making history on the Billboard charts. This year’s finalists and winners are determined by chart performance from Sept. 13, 2025, through Sept. 5, 2026, reflecting the ways fans connect with music — from streaming and sales to radio airplay and touring — as measured by Billboard and its data partner, Luminate. Check out the full list of finalists here!

From chart-topping legends to a new generation of rulers, here are all the cross-generational hitmakers (in alphabetical order) who have dominated the Billboard charts across the years:
-
Anuel AA
During his 10-year Billboard charts career, Anuel AA has tallied 131 entries on the 40-year-old Hot Latin Songs chart — second-only to Bad Bunny’s 191. Among his three No. 1s is “China,” his collab with Daddy Yankee, Karol G, Ozuna and J Balvin. The 14-week leader was Anuel’s longest-reigning champ and earned the chart’s longest command in 2019.
-
Aria Vega
“Chévere,” indeed: Aria Vega rocketed to No. 1 on the overall Latin Airplay chart in September 2025 with her Ryan Castro collab. The Venezuelan newcomer also scored simultaneous peaks on Latin Rhythm Airplay — where she reigned for one week — and Hot Latin Rhythm Airplay.
-
Baby Rasta & Gringo
Chart mainstays since 1997, Baby Rasta & Gringo scored their first No. 1 on Top Latin Rhythm Albums in 2015 with their second studio set, Los Cotizados. The album just missed the top spot on Top Latin Albums, settling at No. 2 for one week.
-
Becky G
With a Billboard career spanning 14 years, Becky G has turned breakthrough moments into multiple chart-toppers. She scored her first No. 1 with “Can’t Get Enough,” her first collab with Pitbull, which led Latin Rhythm Airplay for one week in 2014. Fast forward to 2018, and “Mayores,” featuring Bad Bunny, launched her No. 1 run on Latin Airplay — now totaling six chart-toppers, including “Mamiii” with Karol G, her longest-leading hit, with three weeks at No. 1 in 2022.
-
Clave Especial
After debuting on the charts in 2024, the California trio landed a No. 1 on Regional Mexican Airplay through “TU, TU, TU” in August 2025. A year later, the group doubled its No. 1 tally: “Ferrari,” with Fuerza Regida and Los Gemelos de Sinaloa, drove to the summit on Hot Regional Mexican Songs last May.
-
Duelo
Duelo has been a Billboard chart force since 2004, racking up 17 entries, 12 top 10s and three No. 1 albums. Its eighth studio set, Necesito Más De Ti, ruled Regional Mexican Albums for two weeks in 2009, while the group’s 52 Regional Mexican Airplay entries include 15 top 10s and six No. 1s.
-
Edgardo Nuñez
Following two years of high-profile pairings with Regional Mexican heavyweights, Edgardo Nuñez made “First Love” his first Billboard chart entry — and a No. 1. His collaboration with Oscar Ortiz topped Regional Mexican Airplay in April 2024, followed by two more chart-toppers with Banda Los Sebastianes de Saúl Plata and Clave Especial in 2024-25.
-
Fuerza Regida
Fuerza Regida has been riding the Billboard wave since late 2018, and needed less than a year to score its major win: The 18-week ruler Del Barrio Hasta Aquí marked the longest command by a group on Top Regional Mexican Albums in 2019 — and the second-longest overall.
-
Greeicy
After four years of U.S. chart entries, Colombian singer Greeicy scored a double victory with “YAPAQUE.” Her electronic rhythmic-pop collaboration with Farruko and Steve Aoki sent the trio to No. 1 on the Latin Airplay and Latin Rhythm Airplay charts in August 2026.
-
Grupo Cañaveral de Humberto Pabón
After two entries on Top Latin Albums, including the top 20 set Juntos Por La Cumbia, with Los Ángeles Azules, Grupo Cañaveral de Humberto Pabón landed its first No. 1 — among six entries — on Regional Mexican Airplay with “Qué Bello,” its collaboration with Marisela. The song topped the chart for one week in late 2025.
-
Jay Wheeler
Among Jay Wheeler’s six Latin Airplay No. 1s, “De Lejitos” stands out as his biggest radio hit, ruling the overall Latin Airplay chart for two weeks and Latin Rhythm Airplay for four. The song also scored a 17-week stay in the top 10 on the multi-metric Hot Latin Songs chart.
-
Jessi Uribe
A pioneer of Colombian ranchera, Jessi Uribe has earned two No. 1s on Regional Mexican Airplay: “Si Ya Me Hiciste Mal,” his collab with Luis R. Conriquez, and “Si Ya Me Voy,” his solo chart-topper, became one-week rulers in 2022 and 2024, respectively.
-
Kany García
Kany García’s No. 1 breakthrough came with her self-titled album, which debuted atop Top Latin Pop Albums in 2012. Four years later, her fourth studio set, Limonada, followed with a two-week reign. Most recently, “1+1,” featuring Maluma, gave the Puerto Rican singer-songwriter her first No. 1 on Latin Airplay, rising 6-1 in May 2026.
-
Los Dos de Tamaulipas
After debuting on Regional Mexican Airplay in 2021, norteño duo Los Dos de Tamaulipas has scored three No. 1s in less than a year, most recently with “La Clika.” The Zapata brothers’ hot streak also includes “Ayúdame,” which spent 19 weeks atop Hot Regional Mexican Songs — the chart’s second-longest reign since its April 2025 launch.
-
Luis Figueroa
The salsa singer earned his first No. 1 on Tropical Airplay with “Hasta El Sol de Hoy,” a remake of the 1993 classic originally recorded by Edgar Joel y Su Orquesta, with Figueroa’s uncle, Anthony Colón, on lead vocals. He went on to score two more No. 1s on the tropical radio ranking, including the two-week 2023 ruler “Bandido.”
-
Maluma
Maluma has scored at least one top 10 every year on a Latin chart since his Billboard debut in 2014. His biggest No. 1 came with Shakira on “Chantaje,” which ruled Hot Latin Songs for 11 weeks between 2016 and 2017 amid reggaetón’s explosion. He followed with another winner in 2020, tapping The Weeknd for the nine-week chart-topper “Hawái.”
-
Mau y Ricky
Mau y Ricky have turned 17 Latin Pop Airplay entries into six top 10s and two No. 1s. The Venezuelan brothers first hit the summit in 2018 with Sebastián Yatra on “Ella Tiene Novio,” then reclaimed it in 2022 with “Llorar y Llorar,” their regional Mexican-pop hit with Carín León.
-
Pitbull
Pitbull first set the charts ablaze with “Culo,” featuring Lil Jon, in 2004, before “Give Me Everything,” with Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer, delivered his first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 in 2011. The smash also gave him a first Hot Latin Songs leader — reigning for six weeks — followed by three more No. 1s on that chart, including the three-week ruler “Dame Tu Cosita,” with El Chombo and Karol G featuring Cutty Ranks.
-
Quevedo
A steady presence on Billboard’s global charts since his 2022 debut, Spain’s Quevedo broke through with Argentinian producer Bizarrap on “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 52.” The smash ruled Latin Airplay and the Billboard Global 200 for four weeks each, while earning a six-week reign on Billboard Global Excl. U.S.
-
RaiNao
Puerto Rican singer RaiNao needed just one song to reach No. 1: “Perfumito Nuevo,” her collaboration with Bad Bunny, topped the Latin Airplay chart for one week top of 2026. The song also earned her a first entry and top 10 hit on Hot Latin Songs in 2025.
-
Rawayana
Rawayana’s sixth studio album, ¿Dónde Es El After?, kicked off its chart run with a top 30 debut on Top Latin Albums early this year. Two songs followed, including “Inglés en Miami,” which propelled the band to its first No. 1 on Latin Airplay and Latin Rhythm Airplay in May.
-
Rubén Blades
Over five decades, Rubén Blades has made his mark with 23 Top Tropical Albums entries, including 11 top 10s and four No. 3-peaking hits. The Panamanian musician also scored two top 10s — out of his eight career albums — on the now-discontinued Top Latin Album Sales chart, topped by Una Noche Con Rubén Blades, his 2018 No. 1 collaboration with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and Wynton Marsalis.
-
Ryan Castro
2026 has been a breakout year for Ryan Castro, who scored two No. 1s within six months. “La Villa,” with Kapo and Gangsta, led Latin Airplay for one week in April and Latin Rhythm Airplay for five weeks in April-May, followed by “Chévere,” with Aria Vega, which reached No. 1 on Latin Airplay in September.
-
Tito Nieves
Tito Nieves has been a force on Tropical Airplay since 1995, earning seven No. 1s along the way. His collaboration with Brenda K. Starr and Víctor Manuelle, “Por Ese Hombre,” led for eight consecutive weeks — the chart’s longest No. 1 run of 2002.
-
Trueno
Before debuting on a U.S. chart, Argentine rapper Trueno had already earned two No. 1s on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100. One of them was “Mamichula,” his collaboration with Nicki Nicole, Bizarrap, Taiu and Tatool, which topped the chart for four weeks in 2020.
