The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) held its first elections on Monday, September 14, to elect the members of its parliamentary government.
Of the total seats, 40 are designated for party representatives, 32 are for district representatives, and eight are for sectoral representatives.
There are nine seats for Lanao del Sur, five each for Maguindanao del Norte and Maguindanao del Sur, four each for Basilan and Tawi-Tawi, three for Cotabato City, and two for the Special Geographic Area (SGA).
Here are the leading political parties that secured a seat as parliamentary district representatives in BARMM.
The Bangsamoro Federalist Party (BFP) secured the most parliament district seats across the seven areas in the Bangsamoro, with 15 posts.
This was followed by the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) with seven secured posts and the Serbisyong Inklusibo-Alyansang Progresibo Party (SIAP Party) with six.
The following political parties secured one post each:
- Bangsamoro Peoples Democratic Party (Pro Bangsamoro)
- Al-Ittihad Ummah Kalim Bangsamoro (ITIHAD)
- Mahardika Party (MP)
One independent candidate won the parliament district representative.
BASILAN
BFP secured the most district seats in Basilan, winning three of the four districts.
Meanwhile, UBJP won one district seat.

- Abrar Hataman (BFP) — 3rd District
- Jay Hataman (BFP) — 4th District
Six of the winning district representatives in Lanao del Sur came from the SIAP Party, while the remaining three winners came from UBJP.

- Hamza Gauraki (UBJP) — 2nd District
- Abdul Rauf Adiong (SIAP Party) — 3rd District
- Lampa Pandi (UBJP) — 4th District
- Arimao Asum (SIAP Party) — 5th District
- Hosni Macapodi (SIAP Party) — 6th District
- Ali-Usman Mindalano (SIAP Party) — 7th District
- Ahmad Balindong (UBJP) — 8th District
- Rashdi Adiong (SIAP Party) — 9th District
The winning candidates from the three districts in Tawi-Tawi came from BFP.
Meanwhile, the winning candidate in the third district of Tawi-Tawi came from the Pro Bangsamoro.
- Julbert Que (BFP) — 1st District
- Hadjimar Matba (Pro BM) — 2nd District
- Tina Motolo (BFP) — 3rd District
- Nur-Mahadil Ahaja (BFP) — 4th District
Three of the five winning district representatives came from BFP.
The winning candidate in the fourth district of Maguindanao del Norte came from UBJP.
Meanwhile, BARMM Interim Chief Minister Macacua, an independent candidate, secured the Maguindanao del Norte Third District representative seat.

UBJP and BFP secured two district seats in Maguindanao del Sur, while the candidate from ITIHAD won as district representative of the Maguindanao del Sur third district
- Tawakal Midtimbang (UBJP) — 1st District
- Saad Sindatok (UBJP) — 2nd District
- Ali Sangki (ITIHAD) — 3rd District
- DJ Parok Mangudadatu (BFP) — 4th District
- Rafsanjani Ali (BFP) — 5th District
The candidates from the UBJP got all the district seats in the SGA.

COTABATO CITY
Candidates from the BFP secured seats in two districts of Cotabato City, while the candidate of MP won the first district parliament representative.
