This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.

It's about to go down in Edgewater next week. On November 6, CBS will air a special two-part crossover between Fire Country and Sheriff Country, bringing Bode (Max Thieriot) and Cal Fire together with Mickey (Morena Baccarin) and the Edgewater County Sheriff's Office for a special evening of television. This isn't the first time the two sides of the Country-verse have come together, but it may be the most explosive so far, with twin disasters that necessitate the heroes of both forces on the scene. Under showrunner Matt Lopez, each episode is looking to ramp up the drama along the way, too.

Things kick off with "No Way In" at 8 p.m. ET/PT, putting Mickey at the center of a prison break-turned hostage crisis that forces her to make a challenging decision that could endanger more lives and personally affect her forever, no matter what she chooses. Thieriot, Kevin Alejandro, and Jules Latimer will guest star before moving into "No Way Out" at 9 p.m., which sees Station 42 lending a hand to Mickey as the escaped convicts spark an all-out manhunt. With the community and the law enforcers' loved ones at risk, Bode and the rest head out with the deputies to secure Edgewater before something terrible can happen, with Baccarin, Matt Lauria, Michele Weaver, Amanda Arcuri, and Ian Quinlan all making appearances. Before they team up, Deadline has exclusively shared the first teaser highlighting the tension brewing and sparks flying as they hurtle towards disaster.

The footage opens with a colossal wildfire breaking out in Cribb Valley, getting Station 42 and ESCO to prepare for a joint operation. Things get complicated, however, when Bode and Boone find evidence of escaped convicts. Between the inmates on the loose and a blaze that soon turns literally explosive, they're on borrowed time, and everyone's scrambling to stop further damage and get the innocent people in the crossfire out safely. Lopez shared how it plays into the overall theme of the crossover and the deeply personal nature of each problem affecting Edgewater's bravest.

“The trailer sets up the theme of this year’s crossover event, 'Impossible Choices,' as the heroes of Cal Fire and the Edgewater County Sheriff’s Office face twin dangers: a wind-driven firestorm of epic proportions and a jailbreak by several dangerous criminals, one of whom has a score to settle with Sheriff Mickey Fox. Once again, viewers can expect thrilling scenes, fun pairings, and even a bit of “crossover romance” — only this time, pushed to the limit.”
