Tournament of Champions 8 is filming soon—get tickets!

Food Network’s most-popular show, Tournament of Champions, starts filming season eight next week.
Anyone who’s 18 and older can request free tickets from On-Camera Audiences. If you want to know what the experience is like, check out Melissa’s report from the taping of last season’s finale.
TOC films in the Santa Rosa area, in the same studio as Guy’s Grocery Games. That’s about 50 miles north of San Francisco, and one- or two-hour drive.
Here’s the schedule for the filming of TOC VIII’s 16 episodes, which have typically aired over eight weeks, two episodes per night:
- Thursday, Oct. 8
- Friday, Oct. 9
- Monday, Oct. 12 (two episodes)
- Tuesday, Oct. 13 (two episodes)
- Wednesday, Oct. 14 (two episodes)
- Thursday, Oct. 15 (two episodes)
- Tuesday, Oct. 20 (two episodes)
- Wednesday, Oct. 21 (two episodes)
- Thursday, Oct. 22
- Friday, Oct. 23 (finale)
If you request tickets for one of the days that has two episodes, On-Camera Audiences requests people “choose only one arrival per day,” but says there’s a possibility of staying for the second episode if you go the morning taping: “If you would like to stay for additional arrivals, check with our audience coordinator onsite.”
Tournament of Champions: All Star Christmas season two filmed after Memorial Day, meaning there’s quite a longer gap between seasons than there was last year, when the holiday edition filmed in August.
