It's Officially The Start Of An Era For The Power Universe

In a decade filled with high-quality TV shows, particularly in the crime drama genre, Power emerged as a real fan favorite and gained a cult following. It is easily one of Starz's biggest projects, so it's no surprise the franchise has kept evolving despite the original series ending well over six years ago.

With two of the three spinoffs taking place simultaneously in the timeline, watching every Power show in chronological order can be difficult, but keeping up with all these releases is worth it, especially if you enjoyed the original hit. More projects are in development, but it's Power's new streaming home that will really kickstart a new era.

While the series has been available on Netflix in other regions previously, it has never made its way to the US version despite its immense popularity. Luckily, that's all about to change next month, which will bring this gem back into the limelight and expose it to a new audience, giving it the chance to become bigger than ever before.

Power Is Coming To Netflix In November 2026

Ghost and Tommy standing together in Power

Any US Netflix subscribers eager to check out Power or potentially rewatch it after several years won't have to wait long, as the show officially lands on the platform next month. All six seasons will be available, allowing viewers to get lost in this story and experience every twist and turn, setting them up perfectly for the franchise's future.

Alongside its original home of Starz, Power was also available on Hulu and is still currently streaming there, but the series will move over to Netflix, granting it a fresh start. Despite the quality of the spinoffs, there's no doubt the franchise isn't quite as popular as it once was, with many viewers checking out after the controversial conclusion of the main series.

Now though, it will be revitalized thanks to its new home, putting eyes back on this absolute masterpiece. The story is filled with flawed yet interesting characters making morally questionable decisions while constantly backstabbing each other. As the title suggests, power really is everything, even when it often comes at the expense of loyalty and happiness.

Many characters are subjected to terrible fates, including those caught in the crossfire despite their innocence. Overall, it is a one-of-a-kind experience full of emotional depth, making Power the sort of crime drama everyone should watch at least once. Deservedly, it became a bit of a cultural phenomenon, which is why the franchise remains alive even after its peak.

Knowing how good this universe is at its best makes me confident it could return there one day, and finding a second wind on Netflix may be the boost Power needs to get back on top. With all three of the original spinoffs ending to make way for new ones, a new era is officially upon us.

So, when Power hits Netflix on November 6, it's worth giving it a chance, since there could be a bright road ahead for this incredible series.

What Does The Future Hold For Power?

After Power Book II: Ghost, Book III: Raising Kanan, and Book IV: Force came to an end, many fans would have presumed the franchise was winding down, but it's quite the opposite. While these three projects helped usher in a new era for the franchise following the conclusion of the main show, Power is clearly going through yet another new phase.

Both Power: Origins and Power: Legacy have officially been greenlit, providing two completely different shows for fans to get invested in. As expected, Origins will focus on younger versions of Ghost, Tommy, and Kanan, centering around their rise in the drug game.

Presumably, it will showcase how the trio met alongside some of the daring adventures they embarked on before becoming notorious drug dealers. Set in the late 90s and early 2000s, the show feels like a sequel to Raising Kanan, giving fans of the spinoff and these three characters an instant reason to watch.

Therefore, Power Origins will change the franchise by putting all three together again for the first time since the main show, yet it's Power: Legacy that appears to be the more appealing option. Reuniting Tommy and Tariq, Legacy will act as more of a sequel to the OG series, since these are the two main surviving characters.

Both had spinoffs that helped build their personal empires and continue their individual stories, but seeing them back together will provide real nostalgia and connect all the dots. The series offers the chance for characters from Ghost and Origins to share the screen, while potentially setting the stage for other big returns, which could even include Ghost himself.

There is clearly still a lot happening in this universe, making Power's Netflix arrival in November seem even more important. Assuming it can find new life as well as nail these upcoming projects, there's no doubt Power could reach new heights and become the powerhouse it once was, making this new era incredibly exciting.
